Arpu+ & Free Music Partnership.
 

In February 2008, Arpu+, the leading Value Added Mobile

Service Provider, announced a strategic partnership with Free Music, one of the
Giant Music Production Houses in Egypt, The 3-year exclusive partnership with
Free Music will enable Arpu+ to deliver music-based content & services to its
customers all over the world and will further enhance Arpu+ position as a leader in

the area of Digital Entertainment. 

Under this agreement, Arpu+ has exclusive rights
to digitally distribute Free Music content in different formats such as ring tones,
true tones, ring-back tones & full track download as well as video clip downloads. Subscribers will initially access all of Free Music library through IVR, SMS, MMS, WEB & WAP portals, IPTV & streaming.


Free Music library includes some of the music industry’s icons such as Tamer Hosni, Bahaa Soltan, Souma & others. In addition, Free Music library includes a very rich back catalogue that includes albums for popular artists such as: Mohamed Mounir, Mohamed Fouad, Sherine, Khaled Aggag and many more.

With this agreement, ARPU+ is considered the sole worldwide digital partner of Free Music. This will enable Free Music to focus more on enriching its catalogue with new talented artists.

Arpu+ & ERTU Partnership.
 

In January 2008, Arpu+, the leading Value Added Mobile Service Provider,  succeeded in finalizing a strategic deal with the Egyptian Radio & Television Union (ERTU) concerning all inter-activities regarding the Nile Specialized Channels (thematic channels such as Monawa’at, Drama, Sports, Family & Culture). Arpu+ was among six bidding companies and succeeded to win the 3-year exclusive contract. ERTU has an aggressive development plan for the thematic channels and has recently awarded its Advertising concession for a consortium of the largest media buyers for an amount in excess of LE 100 million.

Wind & Mobizone jointly launched the RBT service.

 

In October 2007 Wind & Mobizone jointly launched successfully the RBT service to all Wind clients under the brand name “Musicall”.

The service was launched on the following channels:

    §  SMS: where the users can request the RBT by sending the RBT code by SMS
    §  IVR:  where the user can dial wind ring tones number 4388 & download the RBT
    §  WAP:  Through Mobizone music section on Wind Wap portal
    §  IMODE: Under the imode home page
    §  WEB: Through mobizone.it web site (links for the site are on Libero.it, 155.it & wind.it)

The functionality of personalized RBT is available for the users, through all channels.

Arpu+ to offer Warner Music Mobile Products to Over 50 Million Subscribers.

 

On February 14, 2007, Arpu+ signed a strategic agreement with Warner Music Group through which it was given the full digital rights to Warner Music products in the Middle East & North Africa.

Arpu+ will distribute mobile Music to a network of 39 operators in the different countries including Egypt, Algeria, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Tunisia, UAE & Italy through mobile as well as fixed telephone networks.

ARPU+ will aggregate, sell and distribute official WMI mobile content throughout its network. Products will include MIDI ringtones, mastertones, ringback tones, video tones, wallpapers and full track downloads.

Partnership deal between Libero and Arpu+

 

A partnership deal was struck between Libero (www.libero.it) & ARPU+ (Mobizone.it) in Italy which took effect 1/2/2006.

A partnership deal was struck between Libero (www.libero.it) & ARPU+ (Mobizone.it) in Italy which took effect 1/2/2006. This deal allows Mobizone.it , ARPU+ subsisiadry web site in Italy, to leverage on Libero traffic considered the 2nd highest in Italy. Libero promote Mobizone content on its main pages through fixed boxes throughout the year, these promo boxes link directly to Mobizone corresponding content on www.mobizone.it. Mobizone under this partnership agreement is considered the content mobile arm of Libero.

Kenza Telecom Acquisition

 

In January 2007, Arpu+ acquired a major share in Kenza Telecom, a Moroccan mobile value added service provider.

This acquisition was done to meet the fast growign Moroccan market as the total mobile subscribers reached 15.7 million at the end of 2006, and estimated to reach 17.6 million subscriber by the end of 2007, after introducing 3G Technology.

Mobizone Mobile Music section was successfully launched on Wind Wap portal under Musica section.

In October, 2006 Arpu+ was given the full Management & content aggregation of the music section on Wind WAP Portal. This assignment was given to Arpu+ as a result to its efforts in offering its users with the latest Italian, International & Ethnic music.  

To offer that, ARPU+ had singed earlier this year digital content distribution deals with the top music production houses across the world such as SONY BMG, Universal, Warner, EMI, Rotana & Others.

Partnership With Egyptian Football Association

A 5 years agreement was signed with the “Egyptian Football Association” to give Arpu+ the exclusive digital rights for all Egyptian football cup matches & the Egyptian football league, as well as the International team matches held under the umbrella of the “EFA”.

Through the 5 years agreement users will be able to download & stream the above content on their mobile or through the internet.
